Food crisis in Ethiopia's northern-eastern Afar region

The erratic rainy season has affected crops, livestock, and income, causing many people to go without basic necessities. Food prices are also rising, and families can't afford the supplies they need to survive. In addition to this, the region's limited cash supply and lack of banks have made the situation even worse.

FATF keeps Pakistan on 'grey list'

Whether or not Pakistan is allowed to continue being on the list of 'terrorist financing' will depend on a number of factors, including the country's economic growth, foreign exchange reserves, and international security. However, most Western nations have backed the country, and China is among them. The decision will be made in October and is an important step towards ensuring Pakistan does not become a grey-listed country.

A special unit of the Ivorian navy picked up the smaller boat and arrested five people.
